Day two hundred and forty eight.

Tues. Sept. 6, 2011

Those bits of paper are covering the names of skull landmarks, features, and sutures we needed to memorize for our Wednesday quiz in the Physical Anthropology Lab.
This is quite difficult for me, being in the Arts, and having not taken an anatomy class ever.
Still, I've really enjoyed the push to learn.

Some favorites:
Inion- because it sounds like minion, which further reminds me of Dr. Evil.
Bregma
Nasospinale- Jerry Spinelli?
Lambda- the meeting place of the sagittal and lambdoidal sutures. The junction of the two parietal bones with the occipital.
External Auditory Meatus- otherwise known as the ear canal
